What Is the Difference Between SSAW Pipes and LSAW Pipes?

The main difference is the raw material and the seam. SSAW pipes come from coil and carry a long spiral seam. LSAW pipes come from plate and carry one short straight seam. Because the spiral spreads the weld load along the pipe, SSAW pipes work very well for water, gas gathering, and piling. Because LSAW pipes use thick plate, they suit the highest pressure pipelines.
